Lisa Jean brings over 25 years of experience, artistry, and real-world edge to the chair. She began her career at just 18 in Hollywood, apprenticing under celebrity hairstylist Chaz Dean, founder of WEN Hair Care, before completing her professional certification in cosmetology school. Her early career was driven by a passion for film and media, leading her to work on the first-ever Netflix commercials in 2003, independent films, on-set productions, and photo shoots for Maxim Magazine with emerging models in the industry. At 29, Lisa Jean stepped away from the salon to serve her country as a US Air Force flight medic for six years. She later returned to the beauty industry as the owner of Lisa Jean Studio in Durango. Today, she offers full-service hair for men, women and kids, specializing in all methods of hair extensions. Born in Newton, Massachusetts and raised in Southern California, Lisa Jean is well-traveled, creatively driven, and deeply grounded by life experience. Durango is now home, where she lives with her dog Beau and proudly embraces small-town life with big-city skill. She’s excited to join the Hair Fusion team and bring her craft, creativity, and passion for helping people feel their absolute best.
